Day 118: Beginning of my last year

I finally made it back to Madison... new apartment! I'm very not used to the new apartment. It is kinda far from campus (actually just one block away). I think it's the property itself sucks.. everything is not cleaned out and is very dusty. That is the reason I still haven't felt this place as my new home. It might be a downgrade from grand central.

After the internship in the Texas, I'm liking the states more and more. Other than the freedom itself, I like meeting new people in new places. I like starting a new life somewhere else. Maybe not so much in Madison...needs to be somewhere new... all over again.

It might take a while for me to warm up, but I feel like as long as I do it quick, I will be set for life.

Hong Kong is great place because I am very comfortable with everything and everyone. I always thought I would be afraid in meeting new people and getting used to new places...but maybe not so much after all.

  1. People are very relaxed and friendly in America. So different from the tension in HKG! But of course HKG is nice because family is there!

I think you'll be fine wherever you go. There's always an adjustment period no matter where you work and live. Once you get into your groove, make friends, settle in-- life is good.
