Day 248: Second last day of undergrad
Still can't believe my undergrad experience is coming to an end in two days! I really pushed myself out of my comfort zone is this last semester by taking interesting classes that I am not familiar with. Like this Asian American dance class at 8:50am every Tuesday and Thursday.
Today in the dance class, we had to perform our final duet dance. People who know me well know how shy I can get in front of strangers, classmates and peers. I've never thought that I would perform in front of 30 people, and I actually did it! That 2-minute midterm and 4-minute final dance felt soooo long to me. Like I said in class, I would rather take exams than performing in front of people.
What's amazing was I started as really nervous at the beginning of the semester, and now I felt okay and calm performing in front of my peers. This change in feelings was definitely amazing and showed how much I have grown in a class like this.
UW-Madison has some interesting classes and I wish I would have discovered some early on and pushed myself even further. Of course, there would be times when we wish we could have done differently. To me, I don't regret with the choices I made with orgs, people and classes. I probably will do the same thing one more time if I am a freshman again, but maybe in different times.
AND I noticed that it is almost rainy and gloomy every Thursday (for real).
