Back to that city life!
Finally came back to the States last week! Went to Ikea to get all the furnitures, assembled them and moved into my new apartment! I am so excited to live in city in US! Who knew I would end up in Chicago after going to Madison.
I like Chicago a lot. This place is a mixture of arts, city and nature. Maybe cause I live by the lake and park, that's why I think that way. I am definitely enjoying my time with myself and with others here. It feels good to bond with the people I wasn't very close with before, but still feel nervous meeting new people!
I knew I would have some time before going into the real world, but I didn't know it would be two years! The combination of work and school at the same time, as well as having regular hours, really excites me. Something that's a bit different is that I will have a winter break and a break in between each quarter. I guess it's a taste of real world (ish...)!
