I left my heart in San Diego
I'm glad I left my heart in San Diego because it would probably be broken in Chicago with the snow storm and chilly weather. The short weekend trip in SD was so worth it. It was a nice way to celebrate and treat myself for completing the dietetic internship in 20 degrees!
I was nervous going on to this trip because I didn't know anyone. I actually had more fun than I thought! I've met so many fun and great girls this trip and had such a great time with them at the beach and at night!
The beaches there are gorgeous! The sand of coronado beach was so fine and was gold color too - like stars shining in water. There's a myth if you kiss under the bridge from SD to Coronado on a boat or something with your true love, you two will be together forever. Isn't that romantic :)

Balboa Park was humongous and gorgeous! It's not just a park. There are theaters, gardens, museums, observatories etc. Many different, artsy things to do. You can just chill over there, walk your dogs or find your artistic self as well. I enjoyed just strolling around Balboa Park with some pretty old historical buildings.

As a foodie, of course I will be looking for good food! I tried Phil's BBQ - pretty soft and tender short ribs! @ The Mission, it is mainly Latino breakfast which was pretty tasty and flavorful! We also went to Crab Hut and got Seafood Bucket shared among 5 people. Who knew we got 2 more bags of 1/2 lb shrimps FOR FREE! What a spicy night!!! The only thing I would wanna try in SD now is Mexican food! I heard the closer you get the the border, the better the Mexican food are!
