RDN after my name? I don't hate it!
After one to two weeks of studying, I passed the Registered Dietitian Nutritionist Examination!!
Officially a Registered Dietitian!
MS, coming soon.

The RD exam was difficult. A lot of stuff I studied from the review pack was not even on the exam! I swear half of the stuff on the exam was random... and probably not even in my study guide. Anyhow, I am thankful that my program has prepared us well enough to pass.
For the past two weeks, I had been very stressed out. That feeling like you HAVE to pass... if you don't pass, you can't do anything. This moment that you were waiting for 5-6 years is finally coming true with one more obstacle which is the RD exam. Of course, those two weeks, I had imagined myself passing and being successful on the RD exam.
The RD exam has a minimum of 125 questions and maximum of 145 questions. The minimum number you have to answer is 125 questions; if you don't pass both domains within those amount, you will keep going until you pass all domains. When I was at 120, I was praying that it would stop at 125, and it did! By that time, I should have passed but somewhat still nervous and thinking what if I didn't.
Another thing about the RD exam is that if you don't get the questions in certain domain correct, those questions from those domain keep coming up to give you chances to pass that domain. I don't even know if it's a good or bad thing.
After four years of undergrad in Dietetics, 2 years of graduate school and 1200 hour of internship, I am finally a Registered Dietitian, and ALMOST MS in Clinical Nutrition. ALMOST there.
