Took a walk down memory lane
I have phases and moments at times that I just take 2 hours to look at old facebook posts, pictures, xanga posts, text messages and recently did that with skype messages, and now with this blog. This blog used to be a food blog -(for two days) -> 365 day project (which I didn't complete, but for a good 6 months!) --> whatever I want (more about my grad school)... got kinda boring. My friend pointed out I am 21 posts away from 365!
As I was reading my old posts, I just thought that... I was (still am) funny and so random and so observant. Just gotta put that out there LOL. I guess when I started the 365 days project, I forced myself to write so I just wrote the randomest thing. Back then, even now, my thoughts just jump around.
Something I thought it was funny and worth reminding myself of my stupidity (?) is that...
1) Instead of tortilla, I wrote "flour"
2) Used to write a lot more in Chinese and the way I describe stuff in Chinese is pretty lively, I have to say
3) Call my parents out for their lack of technology sense - What's UP and Chilling = getting sick
4) How I'm still super old school when it comes to relationships
5) How I actually thought that I could stay in the states for good after my internship in Texas
Some things stay the same, but a lot have changed and for the better too! I never regret taking that walk down memory lane every now and then even though it takes way too much time. It just reminds me how much I have changed and still changing since 2012.
Now.. 20 posts away from that original 365 day project (which now is taking 4 years to complete haha)
