I heard so much about Nashville from friends and saw "Nashville" on Master of None. I was so excited to explore Nashville! We drove for 7 to 8 hours through two cities-Indianapolis and Louisville- and 5 thunder storms before arriving at Nashville. Loved the airbnb we booked in Nashville East!

This pretty much sums up our short 4-day trip

We went to a bar for the first time together and felt like first date again. I looked at him and thought to myself WHO IS HE? I swear I was not affected by alcohol at that point. I never thought it would be fun with your significant other at a bar! It's different and I would do it again if he's willing to :P AND to mention that, I beat him like 3 times in darts :) Southerners were very nice! We bonded through darts (they taught us how to count up the points) and through the hatred toward Dr. Oz.

Our first concert together! These bands were very interesting and different. Definitely not something I would listen to everyday, but I enjoyed the music, the crowd and the energy!

Gotta eat all the delicious food! The mac and cheese is very different from the ones in the midwest. These are more flavorful than just dairy, so it is less creamier than usual. I like it though! The pork was so tender and soft and delicious with their house sauce.

Just looking at the pictures, I can taste it!!!! The chicken tortilla soup and elote were amazing!!!! I love the different textures in the soup- crunchy (the tortilla), mushy (avocado), moist (soup :P). I love the sprinkled cheese (?) on the elote. I shall make my own if possible.

On our way back, we stopped by Louisville for a short walk at the park where there was some history about slavery and Lincoln, and for dinner too. He had to piggy back me because I was walking too slow! We drove through a pretty bad storm in Indiana and had to stop on the side. Also, we had to take the scariest local roads because of some traffic on the highway (seems to happen every time I drive from Indiana to Illinois).

I enjoyed every single moment with him, and can't wait for the next adventure (even though he can totally wait :P). Time to plan for the next trip woot woot!
