Rotation 1: Urology
Urology rotation was so fun. I got to scrub into surgeries and see patients in the hospital and outpatient. Things I learned:
1. So much about UTI, BPH, prostate cancer, bladder cancer, prostatitis, ED, infertility etc
2. Scrubbing in by myself
3. Unspoken etiquettes in surgery room
4. Ok to be embarrassed
5. Move on but learn from your embarrassing moments
6. Looking at urine microscopy and actually knowing what they are yay!
7. Putting in catheter yay!
8. Knowing how a 30g prostate and after radical prostatectomy feel like! Woot woot
Etc etc etc
Exciting for other rotations and continue to be embarrassed lol
