Day 198: being thankful
Hmm If we try to be thankful and grateful about everything, maybe we can turn the negative into positive. I guess I should be grateful or appreciate the lies that people have said to let me understand there are so many types of people in this world, and to truly know who should I walk away with. In the past, I was naive to think I could be a people pleaser and be everyone's friend. As I get older, I understand that people pleasers only exit in a perfect world. Sadly, this world ain't perfect. We may not be friends, but we are not enemies for sure. Hmmm.. we would be indifferent toward certain people. I guess? I don't even know if I'm making sense anymore.
Sometimes the more I think about it, the more I am thankful with the situation I have. I can pursue my dream. I can get out of my comfort zone. I can grow out of my shell. I can enjoy my life.
I am thankful. I believe everything happens for a reason. If I don't get an internship in the end, I would try again... maybe it's not the time to happen? Things will work out in the end... and that's what I'm trying to tell myself or what others are trying to tell me as well.
Roommate C, I know I seldom express my love(?) or appreciation towards you because we always fight over the tiniest thing lol. I just want to say I'm super happy and proud of your great offer. You're worked very hard and you definitely deserve an awesome one and maybe more to come as well. Thank you for helping me out with these things. You always say things will work out in the end. I believe it no matter if you mean it or not. Thank you.
Roommate A, Just saying thank you isn't enough for anything you've done or helped me. Thanks for taking your valuable time out to give me advice and guide me.
Roommate I, Thank you in many things lol. You're the most objective person I've met and your advices really made a difference. I still remember you were the first person on the couch a year ago when that happened. You were frightened. I will always remember that face. Haha! Thank you.
