The day I've waited for...

Today marked the first day of my year-long clinical rotation at Rush. I am very excited to begin this journey to acquire all the skills I need to become a Registered Dietitian. I am anxious to see how much I will grow and mature from this process when today, next year, comes. Everyone I talked said they prepared you very well and by the end of the internship, I will be a confident and self-sufficient young lady who is capable of doing anything; yes, ANYTHING.

I was excited, and now it's finally catching up to me after a few hours... and now I just feel very overwhelmed and stressed.

And... I was 5 mins lated, but oh well.

I've waited for this day ever since I applied to dietetic internships... so like a year. I envisioned myself in a hospital working with patients.. and here I am, so much closer like I can touch it.
