Post NZ
As my earlier post had said, I will start a blog with just my travels and eats (my favorite!!)-
#candytravels. Of course, first and foremost, start with my NZ trip!
Something actually kinda funny happened today.
On new year eve, this guy saved as Andrew NZ on my phone called me. First, I didn't want to pick up because it's long distance. Second, why would I pick up when I'm not even in NZ? What could you be looking me for?!!!! Third, too busy having fun, bruh!!!!
Anyway, I ignored it.
Yesterday and today, he called again. I decided to pick up. The conversation went like this:
Me: Hi Andrew! (thinking that he still remembered me)
Andrew NZ: Who is this?
Me: This is Candice (OS: what?! Why would you call me not knowing me?!)
Andrew NZ: Who is Candice? (OS: WTH?! RUDE...)
Me: Hm the Chinese girl who spent the last day in Auckland with you (now that I typed this.... sounded bad haha)
Andrew NZ: Oh, are you in Auckland?
Me: No.. I'm back in Chicago (OS: WTH?! You took me to the airport 5 hours before my flight- still bitter.)
Andrew NZ: I was just clearing my contacts and didn't recognize this
Me: Oh okay. Have a happy new year!
Andrew NZ: Take care, okay?
Me: Yes, okay
-hang up-
MAN. RUDE. Andrew NZ sounded like my sugar daddy. HAHA jk! The backstory is that he was the driver/ tour guide who took me around Auckland when I'm by myself. He was very nice and explained the uncommon things of Auckland, for example, he explained the west coast is more dangerous than the east coast for fishing... 10% of Population is chinese (thank you...) and he kept offering Chinese food (bruh, I'm Chinese.... doesn't mean I want Chinese food...)
Slightly embarrassed when he said who is this, but it's a funny story; still embarrassing.
ct.
p.s. in my normal state, I would think it's hilarious. However, currently still in my funk, so not so funny ><
