SURPRISE!

March was a very eventful month. First, I finished my online genetics class. Second, I celebrated St. Patty's Day with friends here in Chicago. Third, I had early birthday dinner with family and friends. Forth, I celebrated my birthday with bf on the day of my birthday. Lastly, my friends threw me a surprise birthday party (WHAT!)

 I don't think I ever had any surprises before, and always wanted a surprise for my birthday. I've always done it for friends, but never had one. I always imagined how it would be like and my reaction! I was actually scared when I walked in and saw all these balloons in the hallway! I was not sure where they were going to pop out from. I really had no idea! I was ready to eat some fried chicken made by bf and work on my paper, and then call it a night. I had a great time Korean bbq-ing, eating cake, taking pictures, receiving gifts and card from bf (WHAT A SURPRISE!). Reading the card by bf made me cry, everytime!

 I have a group of friends in Chicago. This year feels like home more than ever.

I appreciate these people so much!

So yeah, I'm 27! I will keep going and try my best to achieve my goal. Don't give up. I have a great group of friends here and far. I have great support system with my family and friends. I have a job. I am thankful. Sometimes life doesn't go the way they do, but don't stop trying. Everything happens for a reason.
