First trimester done!!!!!

SERIOUSLY SO HAPPY THAT I SURVIVED THE FIRST TRIMESTER!!!! I can't believe that was 16 weeks. It was definitely a wild ride!

I can finally be stress-free for 5 days. PA school is difficult but I think I got a hang of it after the first MCQ. I really enjoy everything that I am learning and putting everything together for the standardized patient exam (which was very stressful). I probably embarrassed myself so many times during that encounter. I percussed the heart area when... I was not supposed to do LOL. I just blanked out. I thought it was funny. When I saw those cards with the abnormality, I was like oh shoot what do I do now >.< Practice makes perfect. I need to continue put on that clinician hat and think of differential diagnoses. In order to get better in this, I have a plan which is to write down my own differential diagnoses before our PBL session so I can get the most out of it.

I feel lucky that I get to have two standardized patient and hospitalized patient encounter within this 16 weeks. These experience is valuable to our learning and many things are trial and error, and would only improve me further.

I am also happy that my dietitian experience has helped me quite a bit during PA school. Your health care experience does matter!!!

Emotionally and mentally, I feel well. There wasn't a time I felt that I wanted to quit or felt "dead" inside. I was able to pick myself up very quickly and continue on!

BUT NOW LET ME ENJOY MY STRESS-FREE TIME. BYEZ.
