Day 141: The power of social media

It was our aKDPhi's FLOCKED event again. We woke up at 5am to install those flamingos on Bascom Hill. I've done this for three years now and people have been very respectful with the properties until yesterday. 4 guys stole flamingos that were sponsored by kind people to support breast cancer awareness. They stole 4 bags worth of it. I'm glad someone took a picture of it and now it's all over tweeter and facebook. UW-Madison tweeted about it. UW Police encouraged us to report this. NBC15 saw this from UW-Madison tweets and interviewed us about it! IT'S SO CRAZY. That's the power of tweeter, the social media.
