Day 157: emotionally drained
It's hard to always believe that you won't have the same return even when you've worked hard for something. I experienced that these days. I was emotionally drained by the fact that I did not get what I deserved after putting into so much time. The fact that the thing was this close, but still couldn't achieve it, SUCKS. Similar to when you are about to eat this yummy food that you wanted for so long, and someone just snatched it away from you or you just dropped it (Of course, it is not exactly comparable). The great amount of disappointment and cognitive dissonance were hard to handle at once.
Of course, we learned that we can't force anyone to do anything because the only person who can force and motivate you is YOURSELF. In the end, what you're doing is for yourself and your future; not really for anyone else. Maybe your parents and family... but in the end, you are what YOU are made of yourself and not your parents or anyone else who you might care.

The problem is having expectations of other people... Doesn't work!!!
