Day 33: Day 2 in NC
| Our rolls at Shiki Sushi |
Nothing much today! I woke up at 12pm today to get ready for lunch! We went to Shiki Sushi for lunch because of its one-for-two offer. The sushi rolls are very creative. I never had those in Madison before and it was a nice surprise. Looked at the long list of sushi, I had a hard time choosing. I ordered the one with fish inside and wrapped around with the thinnest cucumber. What's so special about it is there is no rice in the roll; only raw seafood - salmon, yellowtail, tuna and blue crabmeat (not those fake ones!) I loved the texture, with a fresh and slightly sweet taste. We always ordered eel rolls in Madison, but the one here (on the right most) is very different. Usually the eel rolls have the eels on the outside, but this one has it in the inside. I enjoyed the appearance of the roll too, especially the ends.
| My beautiful nails |
Another thing I did today was my nails. I haven't spent like 2 hours on my nails for a long time. I think I did a good job overall. I was disappointed with the cracking effect thou. I was expecting the effect shown on the cap of the bottle. Sadly, it didn't cracked. Thanks cho for her nail polish! Good luck on your exam tomorrow!
