Day 34: Day 3 in NC

Loving every moment in NC! It's a really laid back and chill place. I enjoyed this place a lot especially after such a hectic week (moving+convention). I was gonna go to school with Cho this morning, but instead, I woke up with cramps and had to gave up that thought.

Thai 54: Thai Iced Tea, Pad Thai and Curry (not spicy at all^^)
I enjoyed our lunch! The Thai restaurant at Madison sucks compared to this one. I haven't had such a great Thai Iced Tea for the longest time! Usually the Thai Iced Tea is really sweet, like you would get cavity in one second, but this one isn't. The sweetness is just right. The Pad Thai was good as well. The noodles are not all stuck together, and whole dish if full of flavor. Some bad Pad Thai I had would only have flavor in one place and none the other, but the whole thing has flavor (sweet one too). One disappointment of the dish is the chicken was bland; it has no taste at all.. I think the best Pad Thai I've ever had was in Thailand!! That's why you should always try these authentic dish in where they belong!

We went to Southpoint mall after lunch. Cho told me the mall was big, but I didn't expect to be that big! What's so special about the mall? It has an outdoor and indoor mall. The outdoor part just consists of a two stores (Urban Outfitter and Crate & Barrel) and some eateries. The mall in and out has many interesting gold sculptures, like a kid in a wheelchair holding a dog and like the one on the left. Now that I think about it, I think all the sculptures are actually children.

UNC Campus!

After the mall, I drove back to UNC campus! I really miss driving, miss that freedom in the car. It feels like I can conquer and go anywhere with the car. I miss my car :)

Anyway, the UNC campus is beautiful, comparable with Madison campus. Some parts are really similar, like the Bascom Hill. There isn't any hill in UNC, mostly flat roads. It is similar in that the buildings are all on the side and the roads crisscrossed the same way. UNC is a big campus and not everything is packed at one place, so it was an exercise for... me! (A smart lady forgot her bag in the Zip Car, so we actually walked back and forth for her bag) Trust me, it was quite a walk!!! There are A LOT of TALL GREEN TREES in UNC and NC in general. I love it!!! :D

Edit--
Loving it even more when I saw my first firefly!! Its butt was green :D It was a special moment!!!
