Day 37: Last Day in NC

I wanted to write a post right after I arrived at Dallas, but the internet here just failed on me. I just had so much to share :)

I have to thank Cho for bringing me everywhere in NC! I think I had the best food there!! I really enjoyed the last brunch we had at the restaurant! I loved that Classic Egg Benedict. What I usually think of when I hear Egg Benedict would be Denny's, iHop, Perkins... These "fast food" restaurants really truly SUCK! I always tried to avoid these places as much as possible. The Classic Egg Benedict I had was beyond perfection!! Usually, I never finish the hash brown because I think it's a waste of space in my stomach, but this one is just superb!! This hash brown is different from the ones we usually had. This one added some cheese; it is more liquidy and squishy, but with the cheese and some egg, it was perfect!! I loved the bottom part of the Egg Benedict, which is the pancake (?) or bread (?). One day, I would learn how to make Egg Benedict!

When we were about to leave, a lady by the bar said, "Miss, Where did you get your shirt?" Her tone was so scary that I thought she was going to yell at me, but it turns out she said, "I really like it!" After lunch, we walked into this City Super Type of store. It has a lot of interesting utensils shaped in pig, frog, watermelon etc. Then we walked into the mall that was connected to the store. My eyes never left the threading service once I saw it! I love these kinds of service hehe :)

Everything went well until I discovered that I left my debit card at the restaurant. Somehow, I was very calm in handling this issue. Thinking back, I would have panicked and cried in this type of situation. Maybe because friends have these types of experience, so I know how to handle it. Everything is okay. I already had a solution in this.

On the plane, I was thinking how mature I had become and then... fell asleep.
