Day 38: Dallas Bound

My internship begins tomorrow! I've already met up with my roommates/ interns last night at the Airport. I was so thankful and lucky in solving all the problems we had encountered for the apartment. For example, we found out in the past two weeks that the apartment is unfurnished; we found out that we had to set up our own electricity two days ago etc. However, some of the problems were solved; thanks to one of our roommates who lives in Dallas! She's brining/ providing many furniture and utensils for us. One problem at a time and I am sure we can solve the problem and get settled soon. :)

My roommate's family is so welcoming. Knowing that we are hungry due to the plane, her mother offered to cook some spaghetti for us, with some toasted breads on the side. The family's house is a mansion!! This neighborhood is full of mansion-like houses. Usually, I only see these in TV. I can't believe it is actually happening in front of me!
